Data Corruption & Syncing Nightmares

*** Another update (v8.1.1) 2 days after the v8.1 release to correct "Copyright information"... Come on Morgan, Im sure it had NOTHING to do with the lengthy non-flattering review another user left, which contained plenty of precise points where your software needs serious help OR the fact that each update clears out the "Current Version" reviews.

Start listening to your customers and actually fixing the issues pointed out. Hire some QA/user interface people and earn that 5 star rating again. ***

* v8.0 *
SplashID came to me highly recommend and the system looked great when shown the ease of access between platforms.

However.... My relationship with SplashID has only declined. Upon initial use I noticed lag when updating/adding records between multiple devices. (Some records didnt show up after syncing and others would only display partial information). It was initially shrugged off as slow to update or too high an expectation.

Recently Ive added ~150 records and while Im aware SplashData has made improvements to record synchronization (and things did seem better...) I again encountered issues with properly synced records. NOW I am faced with growing data corruption. Initially Category names became garbled txt, appearing different on each interface (iPhone/Desktop/Web.) Subsequently, updating any record on the IOS would render all info completely garbled upon sync.

Realizing I may push "limits" of the system by using "non letter characters" in Record or Category names (IE: - / : • +) and rapidly enter/edit data on records from both desktop and iPhone. (Yes I save and sync before editing on other system)

That said, the core functionality of SplashID is to save and SECURE sensitive account information. It is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE for the software to DESTROY the data it is supposed to safeguard.

While it appears most people have had no trouble, the volume of users that have seen data loss/corruption far exceeds imo what is appropriate given the core purpose of this company (SplashData). Im an IT Professional so Id like to think Im not destroying data due to user incompetence or placing unreasonable demands on the software. Loosing data which stores my "ability" to access other websites/systems is simply UNACCEPTABLE.

Also, to those who might suggest it, I make regular backups of my data. Attempting to restore those resulted in data corruption where it previously did not appear.
