Horrible app

Both the windows desktop version and IOS version constantly crash. They want you to pay monthly for this save your money. A password app needs to be 100% reliable. Having been able to open app since IOS upgrade back to writing passwords on a piece of paper.

Splash ID does not work anymore!

Just upgraded to iPhone 6s Plus with IO9.01. App does not load up. Just gets stuck on the title screen then crashes!

Splash ID - A good product but

I have had Splash ID for many years and I like it a lot and use it every day multiple times. There newest version allows you to such to a cloud instead of synching with your products locally. This can be a good or bad thing if the “Cloud” goes down unexpectedly - but a reality with any “Cloud” synching product. Over all I like the product but as the company has grown their response to queries can be a bit tardy at times which can lead a consumer to frustration .

Having issues with subscription

Im trying to subscribe but it makes me restore it after I leave every time ?

Forced upgrade to v8 with yearly fee to continue using WiFi sync

Update 2016: Have been using “SafeInCloud" for over a year and it works great with Mac, Windows and IOS devices. Much cheaper and synchronizes with Dropbox. No yearly fees to sync as you use your own cloud provided, quick support/feedback from the developer. Stopped using SplashID and have not looked back. I paid for the iPhone and iPad IOS versions of the app. I also paid for the Windows Desktop version. Now I find that since the IOS versions are automatically updated to version 8.x, I am forced to pay a yearly or unlimited membership fee. There is no vendor provided way to downgrade to the older IOS version of the app (v7) to continue using the WiFi sync with the Desktop (v7) software - a feature I ALREADY PAID FOR.

Another Forced Upgrade problem

Shortly after a similar complaint in these reviews, Ive experienced the same problem. I was using V6.2 and the previous version of IOS software. The company suggested I try V8. I did for 5 minutes and wanted to go back to 6.2. V6.2 was now broken. Apparently you cannot go back and now it asks for an update/upgrade payment. I have over 650 records and was successful in moving them to 1Password, using the converters. I have a feeling that Splash may have changed ownership. The last disaster they had was when they had a server problem and my Splash would not open. For about 16 hours or so, it stayed like this until they resolved the issue. The next thing they said was I should pay a fee for an upgrade which would prevent this from happening in the future. What? You broke it, you fixed it and now you want me to pay for your fix so it doesn’t happen in the future? Sorry, not doing that. Too many problems now with this product. They are not looking after their customer base. 1Password works well now and they are actively pursuing the market and trying very hard.

Is this LEGAL? I bought SplashID BEFORE the FORCED subscription cash grab

Ive been a loyal SplashID user going back to the Palm Pilot days. I love the product - 4 stars for quality. Ive had every iPhone version. BUT I bought a "product" - I did NOT buy a subscription software license. Ethical software publishers in the iTunes world dead-end new development of their original "product" software and then introduce all new features on a new, "subscription-based" software lease. This purchase to lease transition model has integrity and funds new development. FORCING clients who bought a "product" to suffer the costs and perpetual dependency of a subscription model is just not honest; perhaps not legal.

Update to my previous review ... after being contacted by the publisher where poorly communicated upgrade options were clarified for longtime users. Longtime users are not being forced in to move to a software subscription model. SplashID is a great product I use every day. Splash Datas response to my review also I demonstrates a high degree of professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Not Happy

I have used this program since Palm Pilot days. Built a huge database. I have faithfully saved backups and have relied heavily on this program. Since updating my iPhone I have lost all my records. All my Apple devises are now empty of records. YIKES!! I have been having difficulty getting timely help. Very disappointed. Hoping I can change this rating. Worked well for many years up till now.

sync problems

for me and many other English users, the biggest disappointment was the inability to synchronize data with desktop software. check online forum.

日本語の同期ができない!

iPhone版がver5.1、WindowsXP用のデスクトップアプリがver4.6と5.1で同期をしてみましたが、iPhoneの日本語部分はデスクトップで化け、デスクトップ版の日本語部分はiPhoneで化けました。デスクトップ版でCSVに出力して文字コードを変えて再インポートしてもダメ、Optionsからフォントを日本語のものに変えて文字コードを日本語に設定してもダメでした。iPhone版およびデスクトップ版単独では日本語表示ができ、Wifi経由のシンクロも速いので日本語が化けなければ完成度は高いのですが、現時点でシンクロを考えてる自分には全く役に立ちませんでした。ちゃんとレビュー読んでから買うべきでしたね。

Great application with security concern

Great application. But since the password is really sensitive, still has concern regarding security of cloud

I use this on my iPad, iPhone and Mac book. I also like the generate password feature.

One of my favorite apps!

I have been using this app for a long time on all my devices like Palm, BlackBerry, iPhone and PC with pleasure. It has been a must at all times. This is the app I trust.

No Polish characters during sync!

-1 star: Polish characters get messed up when syncing desktop to handheld. Gdyby nie problem z polskimi znakami byłoby 5 gwiazdek - świetny program!

Must have tool!

I have been using SplashID for more than 5 years by now starting with Windows based version. Now with IPhone version it makes it even more convinient to have all your pins secured in your hands. You need to remember only one passwor - for the application itself. The rest is taken care of! And you can sinchronize with PC too!

Using this app around 6-7 tees (1st one on Palm Os)

Not usable w/o in-app purchase

Directly on first start you are forced to choose one of 3 in-app purchases. There is no way to use this app without paying additionally for one of these options.

Doesnt work after updating

Doesnt work after updating: on iPhone4 - crash after password input, on iPad - crash at start application
