I am using this software since many years. At the beginning it was a great piece of software. But in the last couple of years it turned into the worst piece of software I have ever used. Many different kind of bugs and crashes when it comes to syncing, exporting or even just closing the software. Stay away of it. It is definitely not a recommended tool to manage your sensitive passwords. I will now stop using it although I spent too much money on it as I am over it.

Ive been using SplashID for a number of years now, and during that time, Ive recommended it to family and friends as well. For this recent upgrade, when I saw the offer for Cloud Sync services I thought this would be perfect for my favourite password database app - so I bought the one year Cloud Sync service. The problem is I cannot activate the purchased service. When I attempt to set the Sync Mode in the SplashID client, it happily takes my money but refuses to change the Sync mode in the app itself. As a consequence, every time I try to set the app to "Sync to the SplashID Cloud" I get a message telling me that iTunes will "restore my purchase" for the Cloud Service ($19.99) fee, yet the SplashID app remains in the "no sync" mode and therefore, when I log into my SplashID account via web browser, absolutely none of my records are sync-ed to the cloud. So far, Splash ID support has offered that I simply change the sync mode in the app and restart the app to make this work - but it does not remedy the problem. For this reason, I have to warn people, even long term SplashID users, that the new SplashID phone client and the accompanying Cloud Sync service are not ready for prime time. For me, on a iPhone 5 running iOS 7, the app runs slower and clunkier than the previous SplashID client (crashes more frequently than previous SplashID client - previous version was very reliable..) and the Cloud Sync Service that you pay $19.99 for does not sync your records. They need to fix these issues, this feels like beta software. I would suggest you avoid this app until it is more refined. If they fix these issues, it might be worth another look, right now - Im now forced to find a replacement for Splash ID.

The app never worked and in spite of over a dozen emails with Support, never got the issues resolved. I downloaded the app from iTunes and paid for Cloud services at the time. Got a trial version for my efforts that kept trying to force another purchase. I contacted SplashID and was told it was iTunes that did not subscribe me, said they would do it, took my visa information and provided a link to iTunes. The link only permited me to cancel future renewals, not the current. Now I have paid twice and received email notification from SplashID that I have a subscription and then another that it is cancelled within. Options for repayment, PayPal only and I dont have an account with them. Visa dispute handles that issue. After paying a second time, got "trial expired" and "subscription expired" on the app. Support never resolved the issue. I finally contacted iTunes who kindly refunded me and promised to investigate the situation.

I have been using this App since my days of BB Torch. Glad that it works with the iPhone and I can still synch to my PC. One gripe though: I wish they have support for the new iOS keyboard.

Have loved and used this app for years (including desktop). I purchased the sync and have had nothing but trouble since. My devices do not match up all. Lots of crashes.

Upgraded from trial a week ago. Paid through iTunes but the app does not work and data is corrupted. Splash response to my help email is that they are experiencing many trouble tickets so I should be patient. Great news. Seeking refund through my credit card.

Wow, worst update ever! All my passwords are now in the unmasked NAME field (hence visible from the index) for starters. Icons have been inexplicably changed. Buttons are very unresponsive or dont work at all. Impossible to send feedback within the app. Would give NEGATIVE FIVE stars if I could.

Back when it first began I was a loyal follower. Through device after device I maintained my loyalty. I even purchased the key to keep the flame alive, yet I could never for the life of me get any of my devices to sync (Blackberry; iPhone; iPad). My Key Safe will always be my go to device, that is until Im shown a better way! Shame on you Splash!

Had splashid for years on my palm & mac. This version continues the high quality and usability of the older versions. UI is intuitive and uses the iPhone features well, performance is excellent, and sync is reliable and very fast.

I have used SplashID safe for many years but have finally moved on In the past, I had recommended SplashID to countless others as one of the best password managers that offered both iPhone and Windows desktop sync. Unfortunately, the application (particularly the sync) is suffering from a number of issues that are unacceptable and frustrating: 1) Frequent corruption of all entries in the database upon desktop sync (sometimes following a desktop app hang) 2) Frequent corruption of all entries in the database upon application upgrade 3) Duplication of "iPhone" user accounts in the desktop app Since the database is proprietary and encrypted, corruption is absolutely unacceptable (all entries will be completely scrambled). This corruption has happened across a number of the recent app versions in the past year. If the app & sync were to work reliably, I would rate it a 4.5 for its usefulness and user interface. However, until the corruption issues have been worked out, I cannot feel comfortable recommending the app.

This app does whats advertised and does it well. I use it on both iPhone and iPad synched with my (Windows 7) PC. It all works smoothly and I have had no issues with it. Very useful.

Well ok maybe it hasnt been that many years but I have been using SplashID Safe since almost the beginning. When the new version came out I was somewhat disappointed with the look and feel of it. In particular I was annoyed at losing the sidebar and having only the single screen on the iPad. However the recent updates have brought it back and made the whole program much smoother and more attractive. The cloud sync works great. I see the changes on my iPad or iPhone in seconds without having to cable sync thru the desktop. In communications with Splashdata I felt they were genuine in their support and concern in helping. I highly recommend SplashId Safe. Doug

Crooks. I paid for the app in the past and now they switched to subscription. Now it is asking me to pay again as in-app purchase. Switched to mSecure.

This has been my go to App for many years for all the passwords I have to keep for both work and home. It stores passwords, use rids & registration keys for software, websites and anything else. The new cloud feature allows for syncing between multiple devices which is great because now I have it on my phone, home PC, and work PC and have to spend less effort keeping all three sources in sync since its all done automatically now. With all the passwords we have to keep now I use this every day. I have only ever had to use support once in over 10 years but it was a very positive experience.

Great application lets me keep track of things I want to keep track of and keep them secure. Also lets me synchronize to the cloud or to my desktop and to all my other devices.

I have been using Splash ID for a long time through different versions and the product continues to get better with each new version.

I have used Splash ID for many years and would not do without it. It is my favourite, most useful app. Rather than coming up with lame passwords any hacker can guess, the app generates super-strong passwords ... which you dont need to remember. Just copy and paste!!!

Fantastic app that I have used for years... please prioritise integrating Touch ID into the app!!!!

Long time user and the app keeps getting better. I have dyslexia and remembering and typing complicated secure passwords is impossible for me. Im also a geek and haven passwords for me and my friends and family. I am able to save them all and recall them easily. I am able to easily sync them to my iPad & iPod & iPhone. Pricing is a little weird but otherwise I love the app.
