SplashID Safe Password Manager App Reviews

Ive had the app for many years and like all the features, but now its crashing on two of my Apple devices. Ill give it 5⭐️s once its fixed.

Used this for many years. Have not found a similar appl that can match its capabilities.

I have owned SplashID for many years. First for my desktop and Blackberry. When I transitioned to the iPhone and iPad, it was a seamless migration. Sure there have been bumps along the way but none to cause me to leave or abandon the app. Frustrated sometimes but tech support has been top notch and worked to fix any issues. You have to give folks time to do their jobs. I just purchased SplashID Key Safe. I encountered a sync issue with both my desktop and company computer. Tech support researched both issues and now everything is working perfectly. My wife has her own copy of SplashID. While she isnt tech savvy, she can utilize the app very well. I have highly recommended SplashID and will continue to do so.

These folks offer a good product; but, if you dont enter ALL your sites and passwords the 1st time you use it - you are done for...After the initial use, (and continually) there is a pop-up that is unrelenting to force you to pay the big (yearly) fee to use their services! You cant add anything, you cant edit anything-there it sits. I even contacted customer service, they said "pay"! Nasty way to do business.

This app I have been using for over 10 years. I have put my faith in this company and I have never regretted it. This is a wonderful app that syncs with my computer as well.

The app no longer allows me to add data. Useless to me now.

My Splash ID got corrupted. Duplicates of many entries; entries in gibberish "code"; completely unusable. Tried to get online support and got many suggestions to fix but nothing worked. I was told a "higher" level would contact me. Never happened. Morgan Slain, CEO vowed someone from senior support would follow up. Nothing. I wrote two regular mail letters, Oct., Dec., 2015 to Morgan Slain without even an acknowledgment of my letters. They have abandoned me with a totally unusable Slash ID after keeping my money that I paid for lifetime license. Totally irresponsible and unable to fix my problems.

Really negative stars. Update does not completely. Ive tried to delete from iPad, and then reinstall which is what usually works when there is a problem. This time that solution did not work, even after several tries. My advice, wait awhile until this latest glitch is worked out.

Update January 2016-the update has corrupted all of my existing data. All categories and types are lost and fields are wrong and are unrecoverable. Complete waste of money. Support wants screen shots which now display all passwords. I wouldnt trust this company at all. Update August 26 Its still a mess. Fields renamed, fields no longer sync cleanly, deleted entries appeared. you name, its messed up. Ive used splash Id for almost 6 years (going back to palm pilots), but this was just to much of a mess and Ive given up. The upgrade is not working. It is trying to make you buy a new version. Support eventually did get that fixed. I have used Splash for years. They had problems when upgrading from 5 to 6 thats took several months to work out. But the upgrade to 7 is a disaster. I lost entries, ended up with dups, fields are mislabeled. Splash makes a decent product after several months of severe pain but I will never do an update again. I see no advantage to v7, interface looks worse, and I have no trust in the integrity of the data. This is not what you should feel about an app that is storing your passwords.

Have used this program on Windows and iOS devices with no issues. Easy to use on all devices.

Ive been using splash id for a couple of years now and with cloud sync its awesome. Im using it on my MacBook Pro, iPhone 6+ and my iPad mini. Keep up the great work and the cs is outstanding Would like to see better website integration with allowing passwords to be brought up when Im on Safari or Chrome

Ive used SplashID for years. Have always used wifi sync on OSX and Windows. No issues, definitely recommended.

I know that several people have reported issues with this app. I too was one of those individuals that had issues upon upgrading to the latest release. What I found though was there was an issue with the app and iOS at that time. Once Apple did an iOS update the app started working as before. I love this app for managing my passwords and other sensitive information that I need to store and access occasionally. I have over 100 records that I keep information on and this is the only way to go.

I have been using SplashID 10+ years. It is reliable and works as expected with one instance two years ago that was corrected quickly. I recently purchased the lifetime license and sync using WiFi. There are many password keepers out there and I recommend Splash ID.

I have been using this app for years with my iPhone and my laptop and cannot live without it! All the features are great and I can keep all my devices in synch. It has a secure backup option and restore works great. Everything is organized and easy to find

Ive seen a lot of bad press re: Splash ID but Ive not experienced what others have experienced. I use iOS with a MAC, iPad, and 6s and all sync well. Every now and then I have to reboot a unit as the app opens with mismatched data but its usually fixed with a reboot of my particular unit which needs done regularly anyway.

Does everything I need a serious password manager to do. I would & have recommended it to everyone I know. Ive used SplashID for many years on my iPhone & Windows laptop. I sync between them, and the syncing is very fast & easy. I love having all of my passwords on my iPhone and thus always with me, and yet seriously secured via serious encryption. I trust NO ONE with my passwords except myself, so I was delighted when SplashData offered users the option to not sync with the SplashData cloud server. I still get upgrades, which occasionally require support to successfully implement but support is always there and always resolves the problem.

I have been using SplashID Safe on my MacBook Pro, iPhone, iPad and iMac for a long time. It works great for me. I synch it between all my devices and have access when I need it. The support team is helpful and responsive. I highly recommend this app!

I used to love this app, but it is quickly loosing its charm!!! I sync my iPhone and iPad with both Windows and MAC desktop and MacBook. (I do not use the cloud version.) I havent been able to sync with my iMac for months! And now I cant sync with Windows either. I am seriously investigating an alternative app, this one no longer has any use!!!

I have used this app for years and have complete trust in it. I loved that it was easy to sync. That being said, as of late syncing through the cloud produces duplicates of records. Supposedly the solution is to clean everything up on the cloud version, then reinstall the app on both iPhone and iPad - but the web version is incredibly slow and when you have several hundred it’s no easy thing time-wise to go through and cull duplicates manually. I love this app too much to give up on it, but I really hope the sluggishness is addressed (if possible). Failing that, a way to be able to select several duplicates and delete them at once would be helpful.
